Pennsylvania Teacher Suspended Over Private Photo With Stripper
A Pennsylvania teacher has been suspended over a private photo taken by someone else and uploaded to Facebook where the teacher appears in the photo with a stripper. Her name has not been released.
The Pennsylvania high school in the Brownsville Area School District said that the teacher was in a ‘provocative pose’ with a male stripper.
However the American Civil Liberties Union is coming to her defense as they say that the photo was taken at a private event, a bridal shower, and not during school time and was not uploaded to the site by the teacher.
But school board officials defend the 30-day suspension. They say others could face the same punishment if similar pictures of them are posted. Source: wcpo.com
