Cranberry Makes Prostitution Bust After Investigation With Moon, Monroeville
CRANBERRY TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Six people were arrested in an overnight prostitution sting, following a Cranberry Township police investigation with assistance from Moon Township and Monroeville.
A local hotel was used by Cranberry police as the meeting point for the arrests late Wednesday night and early Thursday morning.
Those arrested were identified by police as Sherrie Cogley, of Sarver; Danielle Tabb, of Homestead; Nachell Coleman, of Duquesne; Amber Bonnoni, of Natrona Heights; Tara Wolfe, of New Kensington; and Waylon Brown, of Pittsburgh.
Sgt. Chuck Mascellino said Cranberry does not see much prostitution activity, but police decided to launch a proactive investigation because the proximity to major highways and many hotels make Cranberry an area where prostitution is likely to happen.
