Sherwood; her partner, Detective J.R. Smith; and a task force of local and federal agents started searching for Konias on Feb. 28 when police found his security guard partner, Michael Haines, 31, of East McKeesport, shot in the head in the back of a Garda truck in the Strip District. Police said the two men made several cash pickups and deliveries that day, including a stop at the Rivers Casino on the North Shore.
Prosecutors say Konias told investigators he shot Haines outside a Home Depot in Ross when the victim tried to stop the heist.
The hunt for Konias ended on April 24 when a tip led authorities to a nondescript boarding house in a seedy part of Pompano Beach, Fla., where Konias was hiding while spending lavishly on prostitutes, strippers and drugs.

In a Wonderland moment, the operator of the “Lips” strip club in San Salvador, Dan Ertel, organized a news conference late Friday and said he didn’t know whether any Secret Service employees were among his customers. Ertel said the club was the only one in the country where prostitutes don’t work. But a dancer who identified herself by her stage name, Yajaira, told the AP earlier in the day that she would have sex with customers for money after her shift ended.

WASHINGTON — After the Secret Service scandal erupted nearly two weeks ago, the accusations of egregious behavior by the men entrusted with protecting President Obama seemed clear-cut. Members of Congress and tabloids depicted a dozen agency employees meeting prostitutes in their hotel rooms and drunken revels at brothels or strip clubs involving up to 20 women.
But now, as the Secret Service pursues an inquiry involving interviews with hotel maids, the women involved and the roughly 200 agents and officers assigned to Mr. Obama’s trip to Colombia, the investigators have pieced together a more nuanced story, complicating how the senior agency managers addressed the fates of their employees, according to two officials briefed on the findings.

Aaron Duran, 36, is accused of drugging the drinks of two women on separate occasions at area bars before taking them back to his Greentree Road home and raping them.
Scott police arrested him on March 6 and charged him with two counts each of sexual assault, raping an unconscious victim and rape of a substantially impaired person.
At a preliminary hearing on April 12, District Judge Gary Zyra held him for trial on one sexual assault charge and three of the four rape charges. Zyra dismissed the other two charges.
Scott police allege Duran drugged a 34-year-old woman’s drink while at a McKees Rocks strip club on June 30 and took her home before raping her. Police also said he sexually assaulted a 19-year-old Moon Township woman on Sept. 17.

PITTSBURGH — Lifetime’s reality series “Dance Moms,” which follows young girls training at the Abby Lee Dance Company in Pittsburgh, is being ripped for its latest episode involving the child dancers wearing costumes that simulate nudity.
Tuesday night’s episode, titled “Topless Showgirls,” featured girls as young as eight performing a sexually charged, provocative showgirl-like routine in a local dance competition, donning barely-there sparkly flesh-colored bras and panties to give the illusion of nudity.
“All the girls and I feel kind of nervous because we feel kind of naked,” one of the dancers said prior to taking the stage.
Psychological experts and parents groups that spoke to FOXNews.com were up-in-arms over the stripper-esque theme, and fear that the episode could act as encouragement for pedophiles and sexual predators.
